El Gallo Giro in Kuna

Food and decor was wonderful! I would have given this Kuna icon 5 stars but the front desk greeter made our arrival far less welcoming than I have received on previous visits. I don't know if she was tired or having a bad day but it unfortunately made for a rough start to and otherwise great meal.

Good authentic Mexican food. Which is hard to find in Idaho. Will definitely be back. My only complaint is due to corona virus, the online menu is tuff to navigate.

First time there. We didnt have reservations, but the hostess was still able to seat us. Service and food was very good. Perfect Margarita was delicious. Only small complaints, was it was pretty loud in there. We will definitely go back though.

Here visiting from out of town and looking for good Mexican food. Had a few locals recommend this place. Tried it out and it was AMAZING! The food, the staff, the entire place was the best! I'll be back as many times as possible during my time here. Go. You won't regret it.

The new location is much better and bigger. The atmosphere is a complete 180. You went from a authentic quaint Mexican restaurant to a upscale Mexican restaurant. The food seems to have improved at this new location, so that is a bonus. It's really busy a lot of the time, they only take reservations for 10 or more. They do have call ahead seating which I recommend. The birthday celebration there is a little more then over the top. We experienced someone celebrating a birthday which at first we thought someone had gotten hurt or something seriously went wrong. We were scared out of our minds on how it all went down. It was kind of terrifying and obnoxiously loud. Overall it was alright, a place we would visit every once in awhile.

When I moved to Boise from Denver eight months ago I asked people where I could find great Mexican food. The answer was a unanimous "Enrique's". I decided to make the (short) drive to Kuna for takeout this evening and, well, it isn't the best Mexican food in town... It is the best Mexican food anywhere! Kudos on your amazing service as well.Sign me up as a regular and keep up the great work!

Worth the drive. Great service, perfect food, some of it served simmering in a lava rock bowl, on par with the volcanoes and territory nearby in Kuna. Order the heath bar dessert in advance... it's stupid good and so bad for you. Yum.

Sunday brunch buffet is always stellar. The flavorful drinks add to the enjoyment of each experience!

For the second time the ground beef was under cooked and tasted like cat food. Less than an hour after we ate my wife had to go vomit. My steak was atrocious and about as low quality as I have ever had. At best the food is sub par, at worst it'll make you sick. Get taco bell... im serious.

I love their new location! It seems more open and inviting. I have never been disappointed in their food, though I’ve been there a handful of times and tried various dishes. It is delicious and priced reasonably. And they have a nice variety of dishes to choose from. One thing I like is the guacamole they make for you at your table. You get to decide what ingredients go into it, and it’s plentiful! I recommend anyone in the valley looking for great Mexican food to try Enrique’s.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience today at Enrique’s. We arrived around 1:30 and decided to have the buffet because we could try a little of everything. We were greeted at the door by the owner, Enrique himself and really could sense his devotion and pride in his restaurant. Our servers were fantastic.... friendly and full of respect and love for their boss. We knew when we saw him restocking the entrees in the buffet, checking with us at our table to see if we needed anything, and then washing dishes in the back with his staff that each of them loved their jobs and felt part of his family. As for the food, everything was hot, fresh and so authentic. We are now lifetime Enrique’s customers.

Beautiful restaurant with very good food and good service. Hostess was super accommodating. Drinks were really good with an amazingly stocked bar.

New local near the river, the decor modern and elegant. Service was okay but they didn't bring chips and salsa when we sit down, it took a little while before we got them, then we didn't got refill on the water. But the food was done quick and as always the flavors are delicious.Great place, highly recommended.

We have come to Enrique’s many times and every time is a pleasure. We enjoy Mexican food and Enrique’s definitely hits the spot. It’s well worth the time to travel from Boise. Their new location is much larger than the last one just a few blocks away.

By far the best prickley pear margaritas I have ever had! Table side guacamole is so good I could eat it everyday! The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff were so kind and generous. Bring on the chicken flautas! Enrique's is our favorite thing about Kuna!

We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Food was great and so was the service. We wanted to give a shout out to Missy, our waitress, she was fantastic. Definitely will be back.

As always the food and staff were amazing!! We have moved to the boise from kuna 9 months ago. We love Enriques and wanted to support local with one of our first adventures out after Covid. We both were amazed at all the policies and procedures they have put in place and excuted without a hitch!! The atmosphere is still fun, fancy and friendly!! We love the new location and are so proud to love such an amazing establishment!! Keep up the amazing work and please know that it did not go unnoticed!! You have the best staff and its apparent the family you have created!!!

Went for lunch buffet. The food was excellent as always. The service was very very poor. Our server had way too many tables. We arrived before the rush then a large top was seated next to us. Our server seemed very overwhelmed. Every time we wanted something we had to go look for someone to help us. While the good took a while we anticipated this due to the busy holiday weekend, what we didn’t anticipate was to be ignored. We waited several times for someone to acknowledge us before we went to find assistance. In the end the food was excellent but the service was awful. We may go back and try it again but may not if this is the kind of service to expect.

Such great food and the staff is the BEST! Great local spot, we had to order for pickup but we're told they would open up for dining soon!

Simply amazing food! Had always heard good things, but I was in seventh heaven. Every single thing, from the margarita, the refried beans, to the steak and enchiladas was incredible. Will definitely come here for Mexican food from now on!

Nice broad selection of Mexican favorites and house specials, served in a modern and clean environment. The question I have to ask is... "why so slow?" 45min for a plate of tacos and an enchilada?

Great food. They have stepped it up since last time I was there which had been a few years. If you are going to dine in though you must have reservations due to COVID.

This place has definitely improved since they moved to the new building. The food is HOT, fresh and authentic Mexican. Huge portions, cool atmosphere! Only thing I didn't like was that we had like 4 different people stopping at our table asking us about the food. Let me eat.

We got seated quickly. Service was great. Food was hot and yummy. Fajitas were full of meat. Salsa wasn't my favorite but the patron margarita tower was a perfect start to my birthday weekend.

Hands down, the absolute best mexican food in the valley. Get a Molcajete, you wont be disappointed!

If you ever want a family feeling restaurant this is it. Staff treats you well and the food is better then comfort food. Don't even get me started on the drinks and dessert. I recommend this place for all events.

Every dish I've tried here has been delicious and the staff are always kind and courteous. They also have a pretty easy online order and pick up process.

We were not happy with your hostess. We needed a table for four. She took us to our table that was too small. We asked for another table. She was very put out with a very poor attitude. Finally we were seated. Our waitress was outstanding! She was so friendly and helpful. Our food was so good! All four of us enjoyed our time at Enrique's. Except for your hostess! Check that part out!

Yum!! Love Monday night all you can eat street tacos. My son, husband and I often go here. The chips and salsa are always fresh. And drinks are good!

Very unique place. It's basically an upper class restaurant, but it's kept the prices of a small restaurant. You can have a nice and luxurious evening out, but only spend a small amount! Owner is also very nice, he personally came to our table to make sure everything was satisfactory.

For a small town with mostly fast food restaurants, Enrique's is akin to an urban restaurant in the big city. Fresh look, full service, tasty menu and plenty of seating. Our out-of-town guests (from California, Bay Area) we're quite impressed.

Enrique's is an upscale Mexican restaurant, with lot's a choices in both the food and drink areas. The food is high quality, and the prices are very fair, especially for how much food you get! The portions are very large, and every bite is as good as the last! My friends and I will definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for good food!

Had the most amazing experience tonight! During all this chaos and us not being prepared, they found us a table and the service was amazing. The host sought us out to tell us he found a table we could have with out a reservation and everyone inside was great and super attentive. Best experience.

Several months ago Enrique's moved from their old location on Main St to their new location at 345 N Ave E. The decor is much more modern and probably professionally done by an interior designer or architect (see my photos attached). A friend and I had lunch there this week and were very pleased to find that the quality of the food has not changed. Still five star with large portions. I guarantee you won't go away hungry. The service was also excellent - courteous and attentive without the disappointing "How are you guys" greeting so common in most restaurants today. Our server suggested the ice cream for dessert (three scoops served in a chilled stone bowl. Wow! You might want to share this with someone). Enrique's is a big city lunch experience in a small town. What could be better than this? It's only a short drive from Boise to Kuna, about 20 minutes. Free parking and patio seating too! Try Enrique's once and I'll bet you'll come back again. Service: excellent. Ambiance: excellent. Food appearance: excellent. Food taste: excellent. Food temperature: excellent. Prices: very reasonable. Part of four. Appetizers. Tacos. Two molcajetes. Plenty of drinks. Part of four with a tab of $185. I have a $50 shot of tequila in there, too. By the way, Saturday’s are 2 for 1 shots. If you are going to try something more expensive, this is the place. Bathrooms: Didn’t use. Overall cleanliness: perfect.

Food here was great, I really liked the refried beans with the chips. The chips kept coming and service was great. It also looks super nice inside. Food was great and the atmosphere was way good. We had a death in the family and chose here to eat with all the family and they were very accommodating and respectful of the circumstances and gave us great service. We will probably be eating here each time we come into town to visit family. Oh yeah and try the fresh guacamole.

It was our 1st trip to Enrique's since they reopened. We were not disappointed!! Food and service were beyond incredible! I will be extremely glad when they no longer wear masks as I love seeing their faces!!! We will definitely be back but will call earlier in the week for reservations!! TEN STARS!!!

Found a new favorite place!! The new space is absolutely gorgeous. The food was 100 times better than it used to be which is perfect. We had Zope salad on a tostada & Taquitos Rancheros. We also ordered 10 different tacos!! Everything was made gluten free. AMAZING. The managers are fantastic at table touching. Tonya our server was Incredible!! Fast service, great warm chip refills. Thank you Enrique for a perfect place!

The atmosphere is great! The food is delicious! Service is outstanding! I love that the manager walks around and talks to the customers. We want one in Eagle! Great place and we will be back!

Just had our company Christmas party there. The food was fantastic and the staff was the best. No issues with any of the meals, 26 plates all came out hot at the same time.I can't wait till the next visit.

Drove 45 minutes to visit for the first time. Great food, atmosphere is very nice, staff was very polite and welcoming. Was able to make conversation with the owner he also was very polite. Definitely will recommend and return in the future!

Just stoped in for a drink and some chips and cheese dip. The dip was really tasty. I would have gave 5 stars but the frozen Margarita was so water down it was like drinking a blended lime water.it taste like no mix was added. Though the bartender was very attentive need to rethink the house Margarita. you are a Mexican restaurant and should serve a good lime Marg...( Need to invest in a frozen) drink machine.)99% of ratings start on how well your drinks are made since you bar tab can be more then your meal. Finally open for seating it is by reservation so call ahead. Missed the friendly staff and great food. Love the Wed specials the food is awesome and always good.

They are doing a great job here as Idaho re-opens! They are fastideous about cleanliness and Covid precautions.The staff works hard to serve their guests.Food is very good.

Nice atmosphere. Really solid food. We tried several items because it was our first visit. Enjoyed them all. Worth the short drive from Boise.
